Senet and Objenious, a Bouygues Telecom Subsdiary, are collaborating to enable IoT Solution providers to seamlessly deploy IoT business applications across country boundaries using LoRa LPWAN technology. This roaming partnership proves the exceptional value delivered through the interoperability provided by the open, standards-based specification and ecosystem founded by the LoRa Alliance, which in turn, enables device manufacturers and solution providers to confidently develop solutions which can have global reach.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Objenious as we continue to enable the commercialization of B2B IoT applications using LPWANs in the IoT space,” said Will Yapp, vice president of Business Development at Senet. “Objenious has demonstrated a leadership position within the LoRa community as it has enabled commercial IoT solutions in France. Senet has done the same in North America.”
The collaboration between the two companies will help additional applications become commercialized more quickly without the common complexities and barriers associated with deploying across regions.
“This partnership between Senet and Objenious allows businesses to leverage the benefits of IoT today and rapidly deploy applications that drive value and enhance a businesses bottom line by significantly reducing total cost of ownership,” said Yapp.
Stphane Allaire, president of Objenious, stated, “Senet and Objenious are the leading LoRa LPWANs provider in their respective markets. Choosing to partner with Senet to deliver a cross-regional offering for IoT applications on their open, standards-based network was an easy and obvious choice. We look forward to a long-term partnership expanding beyond France and North America.”
