PodsystemM2M has formed a strategic partnership with GPS telematics technology provider, ATrack. As a result of the partnership, ATrack will join the Podsystem Partner Program, designed for providers of M2M and IoT hardware and software. The Program aims to fast track solutions to market by allowing companies to develop and deploy complete end-to-end IoT solutions.
Remote, roaming and mission critical IoT applications such as fleet and asset tracking require an additional level of resilience that is not provided by many traditional telematics solutions. The combination of ATrack’s robust telematics hardware and PodsystemM2M’s resilient data connectivity solution makes this partnership especially relevant to telematics solution providers looking to provide a stable solution with built-in redundancy. Devices can remain in the field with no intervention required as a result of PodsystemM2M’s Best Signal, multi-network SIMs and additional back-up networks.
ATracks Intelligent Event Control Engine and multiple I/Os connectivity for sensor monitoring reduces operational costs for solution providers. Users are able to define various reports, trigger combinations, and immediately generate actions or alerts to meet application requirements. For complete control over the connectivity of the device, PodsystemM2M provides an Over-The-Air platform that enables users to manage the profile of their SIMs remotely. Users can take advantage of the latest coverage and pricing as market conditions change without the expense of swapping the SIMs.
Sam Colley, CEO of Podsystem Inc., commented, “Our aim is to work with partners who have the same ethos as Podsystem in terms of customer service, resilience and flexibility. ATracks philosophy is very similar to ours, with their reputation for providing robust hardware and customized solutions with expert support. The ATrack hardware combined with the ability to future proof device connectivity using our global multi-network and multi-IMSI solutions will enable our customers to quickly take end-to-end solutions to market and benefit from the control and resilience our combined solutions offer.”
