Taoglas has unveiled two ranges of antennas purpose built for the emerging requirements of IoT applications. The Colosseum and Sentinel antenna ranges provide a robust yet ultra compact form factors, providing connectivity for applications such as tracking, remote monitoring, high-definition video streaming and other next-generation IoT applications.
The new antenna ranges include:
- Colosseum MA8505 – in1 Permanent Mount LTE MIMO*2, Wi-Fi MIMO*2 & GNSS, SMA(M)
- Sentinel MA250- 3in1 LTE MIMO & GNSS Antenna
- Sentinel MA251- Adhesive Mount 2*LTE MIMO Antenna
- Sentinel MA252- Adhesive Mount 2in1 GNSS & LTE Antenna
The Colosseum MA850 is a low-profile, 40 percent smaller version of Taoglas Pantheon antenna range with almost equivalent performance. It offers a robust, permanent mount solution and is the smallest high-performance antenna of its type on the market. Cables and connectors are customizable for any application.
The Sentinel MA25X series is a more compact version of Taoglas MA240 series and sets the bar in the industry with best performance in the smallest low profile form factor. The MA25X antennas also include support for bands not covered on some earlier products.
“In the utility space, size and cost matter, but so does reliability and, perhaps more importantly, longevity,” said Dermot OShea, co-founder and Co-CEO of Taoglas. “While many utilities applications don’t require high throughput, manufacturers and utilities are demanding LTE capabilities because once a device is mounted, utilities want to set it and forget it, and not worry about reliability issues or sunsetting of cellular standards. Taoglas has resolved these challenges in these new lines of highly robust, small-form-factor antennas that incorporate a variety of connectivity of options.”
